Water management entities in Brazil focus on technical training and sanitation efficiency
Technical professionals from Saev Ambiental recently underwent specialized training in Embu das Artes, São Paulo, focused on flow macrometers. The training, provided by Krohne Conaut, aimed to improve the monitoring of water production and distribution volumes. By utilizing these instruments to compare production data with network distribution, technical teams can better identify discrepancies and improve operational efficiency.
In a separate development regarding the sanitation sector, the Association of Sabesp Engineers (AESabesp) participated in the XXI SemEAr environmental engineering week at UNESP Rio Claro. During the event, representatives presented a workshop on the water landscape in sanitation, addressing critical challenges such as water security, infrastructure, and the necessity of reducing water losses. The discussions emphasized the importance of protecting water sources and implementing efficient reuse and planning strategies to manage existing resources effectively.
