Water management issues reported in Nuoro and Viterbo

In Nuoro, a technical fault at a public fountain in Piazza Vittorio Emanuele has caused continuous water waste for several days. While local administration focuses on budget debates and traffic regulations, the fountain continues to discharge water into the drain. The site has previously been the subject of aesthetic debates regarding its color scheme, but the current issue highlights a gap in routine urban maintenance.

In the Viterbo area, specifically Civita Castellana, former city councilor Valerio Biondi has raised concerns regarding missing refunds from the company Talete. Although the sewage treatment fee was removed from utility bills starting in 2026, residents in the Sassacci district have yet to receive reimbursements for previous years when they were charged for a service that was never provided. Despite assurances from Talete officials last July, the arrears remain unresolved.
