Water outages and dust suppression efforts in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi

In Ho Chi Minh City, water outages are scheduled across 10 wards from October 13 to October 16 to facilitate maintenance and repairs of the clean water pipeline system. Affected areas include An Hoi Tay, Duc Nhuan, Gia Dinh, Binh Loi Trung, and Hanh Thong Con. Specific streets and alleys in these wards will experience service interruptions at various times during the maintenance period.

In Hanoi, the Hanoi Urban Environment Company (URENCO) is deploying mist-spraying vehicles to combat air pollution and dust during the dry season. From October 7 to October 15, these specialized vehicles will operate between 11:00 PM and 5:00 AM within the Belt Road 1 area. The initiative targets central streets such as Phan Dinh Phung, Dien Bien Phu, and Trang Tien to reduce airborne particles and improve urban environmental hygiene.
