Water resource management debates scheduled in San Marino and Italy

Various institutions in San Marino and Italy are organizing discussions regarding the management and value of water resources. In San Marino, the Comites will host a public meeting on October 17 to discuss the tension between water as a universal human right and as a scarce economic resource. The event features speakers including Green Project Manager Gabriele Geminiani and representatives from Futuro Nazionale, focusing on the impact of climate change and population growth on water protection.

In Italy, the Fondazione Insigniti OMRI is contributing to the upcoming States General of Water and Territory in Castel Gandolfo. Paolo Ghezzi, a board member of the foundation, has proposed a reflection on the integrated water cycle, linking resource protection to human rights, institutional responsibility, and community cohesion. The discussions aim to address water management as a matter of environmental, social, and public health importance.
