Water Services Council suspends Komunalac d. o. o. price hike

The Water Services Council has suspended a new water pricing decision issued by Komunalac d. o. o. Biograd na Moru on August 31. The suspension follows the identification of several irregularities in the decision-making process.

According to the Council, the utility company failed to obtain necessary prior consent and did not provide requested documentation or forms required to verify the proposed price increases. Additionally, the Council noted a lack of information regarding public consultations, specifically failing to find reports detailing whether citizens or users submitted objections and how those objections were addressed.
