Santiago and Lima schedule water and electricity cuts for early July

In Chile, Aguas Andinas announced a planned water outage for the Huechuraba district of the Santiago metropolitan region on 7‑8 July, citing valve replacement work. The utility advised residents to store water in clean containers and follow sanitation guidelines.

Also in Chile, Enel detailed scheduled electricity interruptions for several Santiago communes on 6‑8 July to carry out maintenance and network upgrades, with outages lasting up to six hours.

In Peru, the water‑service agency Sedapal listed multiple neighborhoods in Lima where water supply will be temporarily halted on 7 July for reservoir cleaning and pipe work.
