In Quintana Roo, a cut was ordered for maintenance on the Puerto Aventuras desalination plant. Bogotá’s water utility announced multiple temporary service suspensions on 5 August across several neighborhoods for pipe repairs and valve work. In Chile’s Santiago metropolitan area, Aguas Andinas reported scheduled cuts in the communes of Peñalolén, La Granja and others for valve changes and maintenance on the same day.
