Water Supply Disruptions Planned in Romanian Localities June 4‑9
The Oradea Water Company announced a scheduled interruption of drinking‑water service in the villages of Cheriu, Felcheriu, Sărand and Alparea on Thursday, 4 June 2026, from 09:00 to 12:00, to install a new water network. Residents were urged to keep water reserves and were warned that water may appear turbid after service resumes.
A broader series of maintenance works will affect additional settlements in the county from 4 June to 9 June. Supply will be fully halted in Zgribești on 4 June (09:00‑17:00) and in Dragșina on 9 June (09:00‑16:00) for pipe and treatment‑plant repairs. Partial interruptions and low‑pressure conditions are expected on 5 June in Deta (09:00‑14:00) and in Blajova (09:00‑14:00). Consumers in the affected areas were asked to store sufficient water and to avoid non‑essential uses until the systems are fully cleared.
