Water supply disruptions reported in Chinhoyi and Dyce

Water supply disruptions have been reported in Chinhoyi, Zimbabwe, and Dyce, Scotland, due to infrastructure failures.

In Chinhoyi, a burst pipe near the Zuva Petroleum Depot has affected water services in Orange Grove, Chinhoyi Town, Cold Stream, and Chinhoyi Hospital. Municipal technical teams are performing repairs, with service expected to resume by May 6, 2026.

In Dyce, a burst water main on Victoria Street has caused water outages and partial flooding. Scottish Water crews are working on the site, and Police Scotland has implemented road closures at several junctions, including Parkhill Road and Pitmedden Road, to manage traffic and ensure safety.
