Water supply disruptions reported in Comodoro Rivadavia and Torreón
Water services are undergoing adjustments in Comodoro Rivadavia, Argentina, and Torreón, Mexico, due to infrastructure maintenance.
In Comodoro Rivadavia, the SCPL announced that water supply will begin to normalize in 23 neighborhoods following repairs to the ’99 aqueduct. However, a new scheduled 18-hour interruption will occur starting at midnight on Saturday for residents in the central and southern zones. This measure aims to recover reserves at Puesto La Mata. Authorities have requested that citizens use water rationally during this period.
In Torreón, Mexico, the Municipal System of Water and Sanitation (Simas) reported that repairs to Well 52 in the Las Brisas neighborhood will affect the supply in the Roma, Ampliación La Rosita, Impulso Comunal, and Las Fuentes colonies. The repairs are necessary due to damage detected in the equipment's arrow, and the work may extend over several days as crews work to replace the pump and piping.
