Water utility companies in Brazil implement service measures

Cagece, the Water and Sewage Company of Ceará, is preparing special operations to ensure water supply during the Romaria de Finados in Juazeiro do Norte from October 29 to November 2. The company will monitor network pressure in high-density areas, increase service teams, and track leaks and sewage issues to accommodate the increased demand from visiting pilgrims. In Rio Grande do Norte, Caern is repairing a leak on the BR-101 highway near the Ponta Negra Viaduct in Natal. The repair work required a temporary road closure and caused water supply suspensions in parts of the Capim Macio neighborhood. While repairs are expected to conclude quickly, full normalization of water pressure and supply may take up to 24 hours following the completion of the work.
