WATERBOMB music festival makes Kaohsiung debut

The South Korean summer music festival WATERBOMB made its debut in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, on July 12. The event featured a high-profile lineup of K-pop artists performing for local fans.

TWICE leader Jihyo headlined the first night, performing her solo track ‘TAKEDOWN’ and a special medley of TWICE songs, covering the choreography and vocals originally performed by nine members. During her set, she interacted with the crowd in Taiwanese and shared memories of the group’s previous visits to the region.

Other artists arriving for the two-day festival included members of KISS OF LIFE, DINO, and KAI. Fans gathered at the airport to welcome the performers, which also included rappers Loco and Gray, as well as Minhyuk. The festival is scheduled to continue through the weekend at the Dream Mall plaza area.
