Waterman and SLR Consulting expand UK leadership and planning teams

Engineering and environmental consultancy Waterman has announced four senior appointments to its UK leadership team to support its next phase of growth. James Bland has been named director of HR, Stephanie George director of legal, Rob Chandler director of finance, and Susan Nilsson director of communications. These changes follow the recent appointment of Jonathan Purcell as managing director of strategy and growth, all under the leadership of chief executive Neil Humphrey.

Separately, sustainability consultancy SLR Consulting has expanded its planning footprint in the South East of England. The company has made three key appointments to its Southampton team: Peter Home as principal planner, Philip Williams as associate planner, and Archie Korrie as senior planner. These additions increase the Southampton planning team to seven members, aimed at addressing a growing pipeline of residential planning work across the South Coast and wider South East.
