Bristol's Watershed cinema and cultural hub has announced an extensive August programme. A primary highlight is "Cracking Films, Gromit!: 50 Years of Aardman," a month-long celebration honoring the Bristol-based animation studio with various screenings, including Wallace and Gromit adventures.

The cinematic lineup includes new releases such as the Welsh romance "On the Sea," the family drama "The Summer Book," and the French film "Love Me Tender." Other scheduled screenings feature "Lady," a documentary titled "The Republic" exploring the Stokes Croft community, and classics like Studio Ghibli's "Kiki's Delivery Service."

Beyond film, the venue is hosting the "SENTIENTS" immersive virtual-reality exhibition in the Undershed Gallery and will launch "Community Climate Days" on August 19, offering free events centered on climate action.
