Wattanothai Payap School to host Royal Charity Gala 2026

Three organizations—the Somdech Phra Srinagarindra Foundation, the Wattanothai Payap Alumni Association, and the Wattanothai Payap Parents and Teachers Association—have announced the ‘Royal Charity Gala 2026’. The event is scheduled for November 6, 2026, at the Khum Kham International Convention Centre in Chiang Mai.

Organized under the theme ‘3 Organizations, 1 Goal’, the gala commemorates the 120th anniversary of Wattanothai Payap School, the 40th anniversary of the Somdech Phra Srinagarindra Foundation, and the 74th anniversary of the Alumni Association. The primary objective is to raise funds for student scholarships and school development.

Key highlights of the gala will include a charity fashion show, traditional performances, and an auction of approximately 30 valuable items donated by alumni and supporters. Auction items include historical religious and royal artifacts, such as a brass statue of Somdech Phra Srinagarindra Borommaratchathewi and a gold pendant featuring the emblem of King Rama VI. All proceeds will support educational opportunities for youth in Chiang Mai.
