Wayan Koster urges PERADI SAI to support Bali customary villages

Bali Governor Wayan Koster is calling for the Indonesian Advocates Association (PERADI SAI) to provide stronger legal assistance and institutional support for Bali's customary villages and Village Credit Institutions (LPD).

During the inauguration of the Denpasar branch of PERADI SAI, Koster emphasized that collaboration between the legal organization and the provincial government should move beyond ceremonial gestures toward concrete programs. He has invited the association to prepare specific studies to strengthen the legal standing of customary villages, which he described as essential cultural heritage. Koster expressed openness to formalizing this cooperation through Memorandums of Understanding (MoU) or Cooperation Agreements (PKS) to ensure these institutions are protected under local wisdom and legal certainty.
