Wayfarer announces new album ‘Riders of the Setting Sun’

Denver-based dark Americana and black metal band Wayfarer has announced their upcoming album, ‘Riders of the Setting Sun’, scheduled for release on November 20th via Vesperian. The new record follows 2023’s ‘American Gothic’ and aims to expand the band’s sound by blending black metal with post-punk, American folk, and rock and roll.

Produced by Ben Chisholm, the album features contributions from James Barone and Iver Sandøy. It also includes guest appearances from several musicians, including David Eugene Edwards, Kelly Schilling, Munly J Munly, Midwife, and Steve Von Till. The album artwork was created by the late artist Tony Stella.

To accompany the announcement, the band released a new single and music video titled ‘Hollow Hearts On The Trail To Eden’. Pre-orders for the album are currently available in various formats, including vinyl, CD, and tape.
