Wayne Rooney in advanced talks to join I'm A Celebrity
Former England footballer Wayne Rooney is reportedly in advanced talks to join the upcoming series of the reality television show ‘I’m A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!’. If the deal is secured, media reports suggest he could become the biggest signing in the program’s history. Rooney’s potential participation follows his wife, Coleen Rooney, who appeared as a runner-up in the 2024 edition.
In addition to Rooney, former Manchester United defender Wes Brown has also been linked to the show, with producers reportedly eyeing him as a major sports star for the Australian-based series. While ITV has stated that any names mentioned are currently speculation, insiders suggest Rooney is eager to compete and show his children his competitive nature.
Other names rumored to be considering the show include Ricky Wilson and AJ Odudu. The upcoming series is expected to be filmed in Australia.
