WBJEEB opens 2026 decentralised counselling registration

The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) has officially commenced the registration process for the 2026-27 Decentralised e-Counselling round. The registration and choice-filling window is scheduled to open on September 7, 2026, and will remain active until the night of September 8, 2026.

This special round is designed to fill vacant seats in participating engineering, pharmacy, and architecture institutes following the completion of three regular centralised counselling rounds. The process includes an opportunity for students who have already secured provisional admission through centralised counselling to participate for the purpose of upgrading their college or branch.

Eligible candidates include those with a valid WBJEE 2026 General Merit Rank (GMR/PMR) or JEE Main 2026 scorecards who did not secure a seat in previous rounds. The seat allotment result for Phase 1, Round 1 is expected to be declared on September 10, 2026.
