WCA-RD holds second Ethics & Compliance Awards in Dominican Republic

The World Compliance Association, Dominican Republic chapter (WCA-RD), held the second edition of the Ethics & Compliance Awards 2026 in Santo Domingo. The ceremony honored professionals for their contributions to ethics, innovation, and the promotion of a compliance culture within the country.

Tania de León, president of the WCA-RD, stated that the awards aim to highlight individuals and initiatives that raise integrity standards within organizations. Babaji Cruz, the organization's general secretary, noted that the event serves to strengthen connections between the public and private sectors to foster a culture of integrity.

The evaluation process was conducted by a committee including representatives from the National Council of Private Enterprise (Conep). Among the honorees, Emerson Díaz Cabral and María Camilo were recognized as Compliance Ambassadors for 2026 for their work in strengthening the nation's compliance culture.
