WCO, Alcon, and IACLE partner to expand global dry eye education

The World Council of Optometry (WCO) and Alcon have entered a new partnership with the International Association of Contact Lens Educators (IACLE) to expand global dry eye education. This collaboration provides university instructors with access to digital learning tools through the IACLE Teaching Online Platform (IACLETOP).

Key resources include the updated WCO Alcon Dry Eye Wheel, which incorporates the latest guidance from the TFOS DEWS III report, and the Dry Eye Management Map. The Dry Eye Wheel assists eye care professionals with mitigation, measurement, and management, while the Management Map offers an evidence-based framework for clinicians and students. Both tools are available in multiple languages, including Arabic, Chinese, French, and Spanish.
