Weapon Discharge and Vehicle Theft Reported at Walt Disney World Resort

On the evening of July 14, law enforcement responded to two separate incidents at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida. At 7:41 p.m., officers were dispatched to Flamingo Crossings Village, the cast‑member housing complex, after a 911 call reported a discharged weapon. The Orange County Sheriff’s Office posted the call log on X, but neither the sheriff’s office nor Disney issued a public statement, and it remains unclear whether cast members or other residents were involved.

Later, at about 9:05 p.m., a second call logged a stolen vehicle in the Magic Kingdom/Contemporary Resort area. The exact location of the theft has not been confirmed, and no details about the vehicle, owner, or suspects have been released. Authorities have not announced whether the vehicle has been recovered or if any arrests have been made. Both incidents are under investigation, and Disney has not provided further comment.

These reports highlight ongoing safety concerns at the resort, which hosts thousands of guests and employees daily.
