Tunisia, Haiti, and France face extreme weather conditions

Various regions are experiencing extreme weather conditions. In Tunisia, heavy rainfall has caused flooding in several areas, including parts of Tunis. Authorities have noted that recent rains reached up to 75 mm in Bir Mcherga. The Ministry of Equipment and Housing reported that over 2,600 kilometers of waterways have been cleared to mitigate flood risks, though climate change increases vulnerability. Forecasts for Tunisia indicate continued instability with stormy rains expected in the north and center-west.

In Haiti, high temperatures between 34 and 38 °C are expected due to Saharan dust. Authorities have advised the population to stay hydrated and limit sun exposure.

In France, weather patterns are highly contrasted. While some northern regions face rain, much of the country remains dry and sunny, with temperatures in the south reaching near 30 °C. Forecasts suggest a mix of clouds and sun for the upcoming weekend, with temperatures remaining above seasonal norms in some areas before a potential shift later in the week.
