Weather alerts issued for Valencia, Alicante, and Castellón

The State Meteorological Agency (AEMET) has issued yellow alerts for several provinces in the Valencian Community due to expected heavy rainfall and thunderstorms.

In Valencia, the alert covers the entire province, with a high probability of precipitation and storms during the early hours of Wednesday. In Alicante, storms are expected in the northern interior and coastal areas, with the potential for hail.

Castellón is also under a yellow alert. The weather instability initially affected the interior and northern coast on Tuesday afternoon before moving to the southern coast during the early hours of Wednesday. Meteorologists warn that rainfall could reach accumulations of up to 20 liters per square meter in a single hour, accompanied by possible hail.
