Weather changes and humidity impact sleep quality

Recent weather shifts following a heatwave have contributed to poor sleep quality for many, particularly women. The transition from high temperatures to cooler air accompanied by increased humidity can disrupt the nervous system. According to the Journal of Sleep Research, rapid changes in air pressure and humidity force the body to adapt, often leading to restlessness and fragmented sleep.

Additionally, the body may experience a sensation of internal heat as it cools down more slowly than the external environment, further disrupting the circadian rhythm. Other factors, such as specific lunar transitions, have also been noted by observers as contributing to increased nighttime restlessness and difficulty falling asleep.
