Germany weather forecast shows autumn transition with fog and rain
Germany is experiencing a transition into autumn weather characterized by shifting conditions across different regions. In Bavaria, the weather is moving from rain toward a mix of sun and fog. While some areas may see temperatures reach up to 20 or 21 degrees Celsius, persistent fog in lowlands and near the Danube can keep local temperatures significantly lower, around 10 to 12 degrees.
In North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW), the German Meteorological Service (DWD) predicts an increase in cloud cover and rain. After a relatively mild period, temperatures are expected to drop over the weekend, with highs falling to between 8 and 15 degrees Celsius.
Meteorologists note that a cold air drop is contributing to unpredictable weather patterns. This phenomenon involves cold air trapped within warmer surroundings, which can lead to complex and changing weather conditions as the autumn season progresses.
