Spain weather shows high temperatures and regional contrasts

Spain is experiencing significant temperature contrasts and unseasonably warm weather. In Andalusia, temperatures are expected to remain high, with Sevilla and Córdoba reaching up to 35 degrees Celsius. Some areas may see temperatures climb even higher, potentially hitting 38 degrees in Écija by the end of September, coinciding with the traditional 'veranillo de San Miguel'.

In the north, Bilbao is seeing temperatures around 27 degrees with clear skies, though Barakaldo faces potential heavy rain and wind. Other regions like Madrid are seeing highs of 30 degrees, while coastal areas like Barcelona and Valencia remain more moderate at 28 degrees.

Despite the daytime heat, nighttime temperatures are dropping significantly in some regions. Puerto del Pico recorded a low of 3.6 degrees. The weather remains largely stable across much of the peninsula with clear skies, though some localized showers are possible in the eastern Andalusian mountains and parts of the coast.
