Weather Forecasts: Gusty Winds in Florida and Warmth in Minnesota

In North Central Florida, including the Nature Coast and Cedar Key, a calm and sunny period will be followed by gusty winds this weekend. Forecasters predict wind gusts exceeding 30 to 35 mph, though no tropical systems are currently threatening the area. While some isolated showers may occur near the I-95 corridor, Levy County is expected to remain largely dry.

In the Northland region, including Minnesota, temperatures are expected to remain well above normal through Saturday. A slow-moving front will bring shifting winds and potential rain showers to central and north-central Minnesota on Friday morning, spreading east through Saturday. Most areas may see less than a tenth of an inch of rain. Cooler, near-normal temperatures are anticipated to return from Sunday through next Tuesday.
