Weather Forecasts: Rain and Snow in Morocco and Yemen

The General Directorate of Meteorology in Morocco predicts localized strong thunderstorms accompanied by hail and strong winds in the Tangier, Rif, Loukkos, Gharb, and southern Eastern regions, as well as the Dakala-Abda coasts. Snowfall is expected on the peaks of the High and Middle Atlas mountains. Daytime temperatures are expected to remain stable or decrease slightly across most regions.

In Yemen, the National Center of Meteorology reports cold to relatively cold weather in the mountainous highlands, including Saada, Amran, Sanaa, Dhamar, and Al Bayda, with temperatures ranging between 4 and 10 degrees Celsius. Fog and mist are expected in several provinces. Additionally, rain is forecasted for the Socotra archipelago and the Gulf of Aden, with potential for heavy rainfall over the seas. Meteorologists have advised farmers in highland areas to protect sensitive vegetable crops from the upcoming cold wave.
