Weather forecasts predict rainfall and fog across Egypt and Yemen

Weather forecasts indicate varied conditions across Egypt and Yemen. In Egypt, the Egyptian Meteorological Authority predicts autumn weather with chances of light to moderate rainfall, potentially becoming heavy in Sallum and Matrouh. Morning fog is expected on roads leading to and from northern areas, including Greater Cairo, the Canal cities, and parts of Upper Egypt. Wind speeds may reach 30 to 40 km/h in Greater Cairo, South Sinai, and the Red Sea, potentially stirring up dust in the Western and Matrouh deserts.

In Yemen, meteorologist Jamil Al-Haj forecasts renewed rainfall across various provinces. Expected precipitation ranges from light to heavy, covering areas in Taiz, Ibb, Raymah, Hodeidah, Mahwit, Hajjah, and Saada. Heavy rains are possible in parts of Sana'a, Dhamar, and coastal regions. Additionally, light to moderate rain is anticipated in Socotra, Mahra, and Hadramaut, with a possibility of heavy rain in the Gulf of Aden affecting Aden.
