Weather forecasts show sun for Waterloo Region and rain for Latvia
The Waterloo Region is expected to experience sunny skies for the Labour Day holiday. Following a week of intermittent rain and thunderstorms, Environment Canada projects a dry period with a high of 24 degrees Celsius and a humidex of 28 degrees on Labour Day. Temperatures are expected to gradually cool, with highs around 23 degrees Celsius throughout the following week, accompanied by increasing cloud cover and a chance of light showers by Wednesday.
In Latvia, monthly precipitation norms have already been exceeded in several areas due to persistent rain. While the start of the week may see slightly drier conditions and partly cloudy skies, new cyclones are expected to strengthen by Tuesday afternoon. This will bring widespread rain and gusty winds along the coast. Daytime temperatures in Latvia are forecasted to range between 16 and 22 degrees Celsius, with fog expected in various regions during the night and early morning.
