Weather instability and rising heat forecast for Misiones and Paraguay

Weather forecasts for October 7 indicate rising temperatures and increasing atmospheric instability across parts of Argentina and Paraguay.

In the Misiones province of Argentina, temperatures are expected to range between 18°C and 29°C. While the morning may start with clear skies, there is a probability of light rains and isolated storms in the afternoon, particularly in Puerto Iguazú and Posadas. Conditions are expected to deteriorate further on Thursday with more widespread storms.

In Paraguay, the weather will transition from a humid and foggy Tuesday to a warmer and more unstable Wednesday. Temperatures are expected to rise, with highs reaching 31°C in Asunción and up to 35°C in the Chaco region. The Dirección de Meteorología e Hidrología (DMH) predicts scattered showers and occasional electrical storms in various locations, including Villarrica, Coronel Oviedo, and Ciudad del Este. Increased instability and a higher probability of storms are anticipated to continue through Thursday.
