Weather shifts bring rain and cooler temperatures to Lebanon and Jordan
Weather patterns in Lebanon and Jordan are expected to shift toward cooler temperatures and increased precipitation over the coming days.
In Lebanon, a low-pressure system is expected to affect the region from Monday evening through Wednesday morning. Temperatures are forecasted to decrease, with cloudy skies and fog on the highlands. Scattered rain is expected, particularly in the northern parts of the country, with heavier rain, lightning, and thunder possible on Tuesday.
In Jordan, temperatures will remain moderate in most areas, though hot in the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Limited rain showers, occasionally accompanied by thunder, are possible in the far east of the kingdom during Sunday evening. A more significant temperature drop is expected on Tuesday, with temperatures falling 5 to 6 degrees Celsius below seasonal averages, bringing scattered rain to the southern and eastern regions.
