Web3 Payment Providers CCPayment and AEON Launch AI Agent Payments and Expand to Zambia

CCPayment, a unified Web3 payment infrastructure for global businesses, unveiled its AI Agent Payments specification. The new integration lets AI agents autonomously send and receive cryptocurrency through CCPayment’s existing API, using machine‑readable SKILL.md files, permanent deposit addresses and webhook‑driven settlement. Developers can generate working integrations up to 70 % faster, enabling high‑frequency, agent‑initiated transactions such as subscription billing or pay‑per‑call charges across more than 100 networks with built‑in compliance monitoring.

AEON Protocol announced the rollout of its mobile‑money‑linked Web3 payment solution in Zambia. By connecting the country’s leading mobile wallets—Airtel Money and MTN Mobile Money—to its global settlement network, AEON allows users to pay with supported digital assets while merchants receive immediate settlement in Zambian kwacha. The platform automatically converts the cryptocurrency to local fiat, simplifying crypto payments for consumers and businesses in a market where mobile money accounts for roughly 76 % of the population. Both moves are part of a broader push to embed decentralized finance into existing financial infrastructure and to support AI‑driven commerce.
