Webfleet implements fleet management technology for ASCO and NG Bailey

Webfleet is implementing fleet management and monitoring technologies with major UK-based companies ASCO and NG Bailey to enhance safety and operational efficiency.

ASCO, a logistics and materials management specialist, is utilizing Webfleet’s Electronic Braking Performance Monitoring System (EBPMS) across approximately 280 trailers. This system provides continuous monitoring of brake performance to meet DVSA requirements, reducing the need for frequent manual inspections and lowering maintenance costs. Additionally, a bespoke hardwired solution was developed to ensure continuous tracking in high-risk fuel terminals where spark ignition risks previously required devices to be unplugged.

NG Bailey, an infrastructure services business, is using Webfleet’s solutions to support a fleet transformation of over 600 vehicles. Pilot trials indicated a 3% improvement in fuel economy and a 25% reduction in wasted fuel. The company also reported significant safety improvements through driver performance monitoring, including a 25% decrease in harsh driving events, a 26% reduction in speeding, and a 35% drop in camera-triggered safety incidents.
