WebOptimizer launches data‑driven service to make German law firms the top AI‑search result
Munich‑based agency WebOptimizer introduced a measurable programme called “Erste Adresse: KANZLEI” to help law firms become the first‑choice provider in a chosen legal specialty within their region. The service targets the growing habit of clients turning to generative‑AI systems such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and Perplexity for lawyer recommendations, where AI often returns only one to three names.
The approach starts with a terrain analysis of current visibility on Google, local map listings and AI mentions, followed by the creation of a thematic content cluster and optimisation of the firm’s Google Business profile. WebOptimizer records a baseline of AI citations across four major AI platforms, implements the changes, then measures the impact again. The firm stresses compliance with professional rules, relying on substantive expertise rather than exaggerated advertising.
WebOptimizer cites the German Bar Association’s 2025 STAR report, which shows that specialised lawyers earn roughly €237,000 annually versus €109,000 for generalists, underscoring the economic incentive for visibility. Founder Heiner Etzler warned, “Der beste Fachanwalt der Stadt nützt niemandem, wenn ihn niemand findet.”
