Webuild rises in ENR global contractor rankings

Italian construction giant Webuild has risen in the 2026 Engineering News-Record (ENR) rankings, climbing to 26th place in the Top 250 Global Contractors list, an increase of eight positions in one year. The company also secured 12th place in the Top 250 International Contractors ranking.

Webuild maintains its long-standing leadership in the water sector. Key projects contributing to this status include the completion of the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam (GERD) in Ethiopia and the Riachuelo wastewater treatment system in Argentina, managed through its subsidiary Fisia Italimpianti. Additionally, the group has been involved in groundwater treatment projects for the Zuluf offshore field in Saudi Arabia. The company also ranks highly in the transportation sector, placing 9th in that specific category.
