wedotv expands FAST channel distribution on VIDAA platform

Streaming channel operator wedotv has renewed and expanded its global distribution agreement with V, the company behind the VIDAA smart TV platform. The expanded deal increases wedotv’s free ad-supported streaming television (FAST) presence on VIDAA-powered devices, which are used by brands such as Hisense, Toshiba, Loewe, Leica, Schneider, and Element.

The partnership introduces new content to the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region and South Africa. In the MENA region, the platform has launched wedotv Sports MENA and wedotv Cars. In South Africa, the service has added wedotv Big Stories, wedotv Cars, and the single-IP channel wedotv: Piel Salvaje.

Following this expansion, wedotv now provides FAST channels on VIDAA platforms across 14 territories, including the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Italy, Brazil, Poland, Australia, New Zealand, the Netherlands, Israel, and the DACH region.
