Weekly Football Quiz Series Launched for Fans

Two new football‑focused quiz initiatives have been introduced. The first, Quickfire Quiz 166, offers a range of challenges covering Pep Guardiola’s most‑used players, every Arsenal Premier League winner, goal‑scorers with 20+ league goals, Premier League Golden Glove keepers and lineup‑identification puzzles using only national flags. It also includes FourFourTwo’s Weekend Crossword 63, testing knowledge of playmakers and future Euro 2028 venues.

The second initiative, called “Name the Football Star,” is a weekly quiz for Star Gold subscribers. Participants must identify five players solely from Wikipedia‑style data on clubs, appearances and goals, without seeing nationality or position. The test features a former Liverpool ace, a player from a bitter rival club and a former player turned outspoken pundit, aiming to engage fans each Monday.

Both quizzes aim to deepen fan engagement by blending statistical trivia with classic crossword challenges.
