Weezer Releases New Single “C. E. O.” and Announces International Tour Dates

American rock band Weezer has issued a new single titled “C. E. O.” from their forthcoming self‑titled Gold Album, slated for release on August 21. The track reflects on the pressures of aging musicians and is accompanied by a video that pays homage to the 1994 “Undone (The Sweater Song)” clip, featuring numerous celebrity cameos.

The song was recorded with producers Klas Åhlund and Kenneth Blume (formerly Kenny Beats). Alongside the release, Weezer expanded its arena tour, adding dates in Japan, the United Kingdom and Europe with Taking Back Sunday as a supporting act. The North American leg, already announced with The Shins and Silversun Pickups, will begin on September 8 in Sacramento, California and includes stops across the United States and Canada.
