WEG expects growth resumption in 2026 via capacity expansion

WEG expects to resume growth in the second half of 2026, driven by investments to expand production capacity and the internationalization of its business. During an investor presentation, CFO André Luís Rodrigues noted that these investments are intended to unlock current growth limitations related to manufacturing capacity, with significant impacts expected in 2026 and 2027.

Key growth drivers include the transformer segment and increasing demand in the data center market. Manfred Johann, Vice President of Automation and Systems, stated the company aims to have a robust product portfolio for data centers by 2030. Additionally, João Gualberto da Silva, Vice President of Energy, indicated that investments are projected to enable the production of 50 generators per day by the end of 2029.
