Denmark fuel prices expected to remain high amid infrastructure concerns

Fuel prices in Denmark are expected to remain elevated, according to warnings from consumer organization FDM. Ilyas Dogru of FDM stated that even if peace is achieved between the US and Iran, fuel prices are unlikely to return to pre-war levels due to depleted stocks and damaged infrastructure.

Since the beginning of March, gasoline prices have risen by between 4 and 4.5 DKK per liter. For a family driving 20,000 kilometers annually, this represents an additional cost of over 5,000 DKK per year. Morten Messerschmidt, leader of the Danish People's Party, commented on the situation via social media, echoing the warning that consumers should not expect a return to previous price levels.
