Wehr delegation visits twin city of Nettuno

A delegation from the Freundeskreis Städtepartnerschaften (Circle of Friends of Twinning) of Wehr visited the Italian city of Nettuno to strengthen the long-standing friendship between the two twinned communities.

The delegation was led by Elke Schultz-Thater, President of the association, and included Michael Schultz-Thater, the former Mayor of Wehr. They delivered a message of cooperation from the current Mayor of Wehr, Denis Schimak, to the Mayor of Nettuno, Nicola Burrini.

During the visit, the group explored local traditions, including a visit to an ancient artisanal workshop to observe traditional terracotta processing techniques. The itinerary concluded with a visit to the Casa Agricola della Divina Provvidenza to learn about agricultural production and participate in a tasting of local products and wine.
