Weidenbach initiates core road project between Leidendorf and Nehdorf

A groundbreaking ceremony was held in Weidenbach to launch the construction of a new core road linking the villages of Leidendorf and Nehdorf. The event was attended by Mayor Willi Albrecht, the chair of the participating community group Christoph Kalender, representatives Jürgen Hacker and Ruben Henninger of the Rural Development Association of Middle Franconia, road master Markus Steinbauer, and builder Karl Kolb. The new “Kernweg” aims to alleviate traffic delays on the nearby B13, especially during the harvest season when heavy farm tractors slow the flow of vehicles.

The project marks a collaborative effort among local authorities, regional development bodies, and construction firms to improve transport efficiency in the area.
