Weight‑loss tips: slower eating and high‑protein cottage cheese

Research shows that eating more slowly gives the brain about 20 minutes to register fullness, helping people consume fewer calories. Putting utensils down between bites, chewing thoroughly and avoiding TV or phone while eating can reduce overeating. Adding protein‑rich foods such as eggs, lean meat, fish, legumes, vegetables and whole grains, as well as fiber, further supports satiety. Adequate sleep also balances hunger hormones, making it easier to stick to a diet.

Cottage cheese (cottage cheese) is highlighted as a low‑calorie, high‑protein option for weight loss. A 100‑gram serving provides roughly 100 kcal and 11 g of protein, much of it slow‑digesting casein, which prolongs the feeling of fullness and increases post‑meal thermogenesis. Incorporating this dairy product into meals can help maintain muscle mass while keeping overall calorie intake low.
