Weilburg to host 19th WWW-Kindertag on August 30, 2026

The 19th WWW-Kindertag is scheduled to take place in Weilburg on August 30, 2026, as part of the Weilburger Kirchweih festivities. Organized by the Weilburg Trade Association, the event will run from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM in the city center.

Children can participate in various activities at multiple stations to collect stamps. A completed stamp booklet allows entry into a large sweepstakes featuring over 20 prizes valued at more than 1,000 euros, including family passes to various parks and museums. The event also features the WWW mascot, Kalli.

New participants this year include Strandgut ‘Klein Nizza’, a virtual driving school, Oliver Groß (a Vorwerk Kobold consultant), and Volksbank Mittelhessen. Because some activity stations are located outside the city center, the Bimmelbahn train will make stops at the station to assist visitors. Additionally, the day will serve as a ‘verkaufsoffener Sonntag’, meaning local shops will remain open for business during the event.
