Weinberg Campus in Halle expands with new Innovation Hub

The Weinberg Campus in Halle (Saale), Germany, is expanding to accommodate growing demand from research-intensive startups, small and medium-sized enterprises, and industrial companies. A new Innovation Hub is scheduled to open in January 2027, following the completion of planning for two additional new construction projects.

Currently, the 134-hectare campus hosts approximately 6,000 people, including employees from over 100 companies, the Martin-Luther-University Halle, and various research institutes. Dr. Edgar Boczek, Head of Venture & Innovation Management at the technology park, noted that the campus has grown incrementally since its first center opened in 1993, with most existing spaces now nearly at full capacity.
