Weissenhäuser Strand welcomes 20 new apprentices
The Ferien- und Freizeitpark Weissenhäuser Strand has welcomed 20 new apprentices to begin their professional training. The group is international, including trainees from Madagascar, Zimbabwe, and Morocco, while approximately 20 percent of the recruits are from the local area.
The apprentices are training for roles as cooks, restaurant and event catering specialists, and bath facility specialists. To support their integration, the company provides accommodation in staff apartments and offers internal language support to enhance their German skills.
As part of their onboarding, the new staff participated in a kick-off event and a week of training designed to introduce them to the various business sectors and key personnel. International trainees receive additional assistance with administrative tasks and local authorities.
