Wejherowo County reports series of traffic accidents and pedestrian fatality

A series of traffic accidents and collisions occurred in Wejherowo County starting October 1. The most severe incident took place in Rumi on October 2, where an 82-year-old pedestrian was killed after being struck by a Toyota RAV4 that failed to yield the right of way at an intersection. The driver was sober and tested negative for drugs.

Other incidents in the region included a collision on the S6 highway near Szemud involving a Dacia Duster and a Mitsubishi, resulting in several injuries and fractures. Additionally, a Volkswagen collided with a cyclist in Linia, and other accidents were reported in the areas of Kierzkowo, Koleczkowo, and Gowino.
