Welcome To Mars 9 set for Nintendo Switch release on September 16

Sonomio Games has announced that the narrative-driven sci-fi adventure game, Welcome To Mars 9: The Tale of River, will launch on the Nintendo Switch on September 16, 2026. The release follows a slight delay from its original September 9 target.

Players take on the role of River, a survivor rescued by Mars 9, a luxury space station orbiting Mars that is presented as humanity’s last hope. The gameplay focuses on exploration, dialogue, and moral dilemmas, where player decisions directly influence the narrative, the fate of the station's inhabitants, and the future of humanity. The game features a pixel art visual style and offers multiple endings based on the choices made throughout the campaign.
